Certification
Complete the Cresora certification check run before going to production.
All partners pass certification before production. It validates that your integration handles payments, errors, and edge cases correctly — and it is a check run the platform verifies against your sandbox activity, not a document review.
The process
- Sandbox integration — complete the full Getting Started flow
- Run the scenarios — exercise the required scenarios in the sandbox; the automated checks look for exactly this activity
- Start certification in the Partner Portal (Integration → Certification) and run the checks; confirm the self-attestation checks where asked
- Close the gaps and re-run — progress is per check; some checks are ruled by Cresora reviewers
Certification is mandatory: a partner's merchants cannot go live without it — it is a gate the platform enforces, not a formality.
What certification covers
- Card flows through the hosted page: sale, auth-only + capture, cancel, refund
- ACH payment and return handling (if you use ACH)
- Webhook delivery: signature verification and idempotent retry handling
- Error handling for declined and invalid requests
- PCI scope documentation (your SAQ, uploaded under Compliance → PCI SAQ)
Timeline
The automated checks answer as fast as you run the scenarios; attestations are instant; Cresora-ruled checks depend on reviewer availability — plan for days, not hours, and ask your account manager for the current expectation rather than building a launch date on one.
